Northland Pony Rides

Northland Pony Rides 
Helen Peart will be here with her two horses offering children $5 rides and a miniature pony for the little ones to get up close and pat.

Princess and the Pirate

Vanessa (owner of Deloraine Cattery) from Princess and the Pirate will have several party entertainers walking around handing out lollies, having their photo taken and have several bouncy castles on display. It will cost $2 for 15 minutes of bouncing time with all proceeds going to the Whangarei SPCA. Princess and the Pirate sells quality children's costumes ideal for birthday's and plenty more imaginative fun. Princess and the Pirate also hires bouncy castles, children's sized tables and chairs, party supplies and hosts parties here on the Deloraine Cattery grounds.

Face Painting
We have two fabulous ladies Juliana Botero and Sarah Welsh who both do the most amazing face painting. They are both true artists! They will be offering two sizes $3 for the smaller size (ideal for toddlers who can't sit still for long) and $5 for the larger more elaborate styles.

Heads up on Bank

Elaine and the team from Heads Up on Bank will be offering painted hair and painted nail options for all our young guests. It will cost $3 each of $5 for a combo with the proceeds going to the SPCA.

Brad Walters - Airbrush Artist
Brad Walters is a local airbrush artist who will be doing a live airbrush demonstration on the day with his finished art work being later auctioned off later in the day to raise money for the Whangarei SPCA.

Live Band
Jan MacPherson and Leanne Dunn a duet of Spellbound will be entertaining you with their country sound.

Blair Strang

Blair Strang is a New Zealand actor most noted for his role as ambulance driver Rangi Heremaia on Shortland Street from 1995 - 2001. Most recently, Blair has played Brian King in TV One's Nothing Trivial from 2011 - 2013.

Blair will be here to support the Cause for Paws family day out as he has in the past and will talk about the good work the SPCA is doing in the community. He will also have some signed DVD's of Nothing Trivial and other shows from the same productions company (such as Almighty Johnsons and Go Girls) to give out on the day.

You will also have the opportunity to bid on several tickets to spend the evening mingling with Blair at a poolside buffet dinner hosted at the Deloraine Cattery.
